CPD & Teachers' Events
Our range of professional development programmes introduce the Gallery as an educational resource, supporting teachers to interpret portraiture and develop programming ideas for classroom work and Gallery visits.
We offer a CPD programme of practical workshops and after-hours exhibition twilight with guest speakers, which give our teaching audiences a special insight into our Collections and exhibitions.
Bookings are essential and non refundable. Please sign up to our termly e-newsletter. New events will be released throughout 2017/18 academic year.
Join us to discover how our exhibition programme can support your teaching. These illustrated talks, with special guest speakers, give you the opportunity to share ideas with fellow educators and spark discussions to support teaching in the classroom.
The Gallery is pleased to be able to offer Teacher Twilight events for free. Please note that to cover costs there is charge of £20 per head for no shows or cancellations made after 10am the Monday before the event. We will be able to offer spaces to those on the waiting list.
The Gallery also runs practical activities, which are suitable for teachers to join, during our Thursday and Friday Late Shift evenings. For updates on our Schools’ Programme please sign up to our termly e-newsletter
